Woman Alleges Threat to Life Over Breach of Contractual Agreement

A woman, Miss … has alleged threats to her life and that of her parents in Nigeria by some persons, claiming she breached a contractual agreement to engage in prostitution.

Speaking about her ordeal through a telephone interview, she revealed that the agreement was entered into under duress and has since decided to opt out of the arrangement, a decision she claims has not gone down well with those involved.

“They say I must continue with prostitution to pay back the money they claim I owe them, but I’ve made up my mind to leave that life behind,” she said.According to her, the threats have escalated to the point where she fears for her safety.

They have called on law enforcement agencies to investigate the matter and ensure the woman’s safety.“This is a clear case of coercion and exploitation.

We urge the authorities to step in, protect the victim, and bring those responsible for the threats to justice,” a human rights advocate said.
