Wolves Dismiss Confed Cup Fears
Warri Wolves have maintained they will not be walked over by Ethiopia’s Dedebit this weekend in a CAF Confederation Cup due to a cash crunch.
Warri Wolves beat the Ethiopian club 2-0 in the first leg in Warri.
There have been fears that Wolves could follow the line of Dolphins in the Confederation Cup as they are yet to book their tickets for their trip to Addis Ababa.
However Wolves media officer Moses Etu has told AfricanFootball.com the team’s travel plans are on track.
“There is no cause for alarm. We still have two days to make the necessary arrangements. The team is still in close camp,” he said.
“Our plan is to head out of Warri on Thursday and arrive Ethiopia on Friday for the game on Saturday.
“All things being equal, we will book the travel tickets today or tomorrow. The good thing is that it’s a direct flight.”
