Wolves Caf Confed Cup Match Threatened
Nigeria professional football league (NPFL) club, Warri Wolves, are in danger of missing their trip to ethiopia ahead of their caf confederation cup match against dedebit fc this weekend.
Supersport.com has been informed that the warri club could miss the trip to addis ababa as their financier, the delta state government, is yet to release fund meant for the trip to the east african nation.
Sources at the club disclosed that the management of wolves had submitted their budget for the trip to honour the second leg, first round clash with dedebit fc earlier this month, but have received no words from the different ministries in the state we have to go through on the matter with less than seven days to the date of the match.
Wolves officials are, however, worried that they could be faced with hiccups in planning their plan since they are yet to make arrangement for their team’s flight to east africa.
Wolves won the first leg against dedebit fc 2-0 with oghenekaro etebo and gbolahan salami scoring the goals.
