Wife escapes mob attack after she was nabbed in same-sex Act With Maid

Pandemonium erupted in Palace crescent, Useh quarters in Benin City when a 51-years old Bridget Igbinedion escaped being lynched to death after she was reportedly caught in the act of same-sex practice with her maid in early January.

An eyewitness account who pleaded anonymity said that the married was caught with her maid by an unsuspecting neignhour in the community when she walked in on them in the act.

Narrating events which led to the escape of the married woman, the eyewitness said Bridget Igbinedion pleaded for mercy from the angry mob as they unleashed terror on her adding that she lured her house maid into the taboo after her husband refused to perform his matrimonial rights for several months.

The eyewitness further said the mob were angered more when they realized she lured an innocent girl into the act .

However, the maid was not spared by the angry mob as she was severly beaten into coma by the mob as the married managed to escape from the crowd.

Meanwhile, a statement by the Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police said it received report of a married and her maid being tortured after they were allegedly caught in act of same-sex practice in Palace Crescent, Useh quarters in Benin City.

The statement further stated that while the corpse of the maid who was later confirmed dead had been deposited at the mortuary efforts are underway to arrest the mob responsible for the attack while declaring one Bridget Igbinedion wanted for violation of Same-sex Prohibition act.
