Why Arsenal needs FA Cup more than Chelsea – Fabregas

Spanish professional footballer, Cesc Fabregas will be a keen observer of the FA Cup final when two of his former clubs, Arsenal and Chelsea, go head to head.

Fabregas had suggested he would rather see Arsenal win the FA Cup because the north London club “needs it more”.

The former Arsenal midfielder explained that ”Arsenal need it more.”

While giving his reasons, Fabregas said ‘Chelsea basically every year has won a trophy, so it’s a different animal in this case.”

Fabregas told Daily Telegraph, ‘In terms of trophies, Arsenal needs it more and for confidence for next year and getting into Europe.

‘Chelsea are in the Champions League and Arsenal has nothing at the moment,” he said.

However, while the Spanish World Cup winner views Frank Lampard’s team as the favourites, he insists Mikel Arteta’s men need the win more.

Daily Times gathered that Fabregas won the FA Cup with both clubs but he suspects it will be Chelsea who get their hands on the trophy this weekend.
