Sahur is the meal consumed early in the morning by Muslims before fasting (sawm), before dawn during or outside the Islamic month of Ramadan.
Make Sure You Don’t Skip Sahur.
But, sahur has a much bigger importance and meaning than just something to eat before you start fasting. It prevents you from fatigue during the day and helps alleviate extreme hunger and thirst.

Making up missed days of Ramadan is an obligation.

If someone is old enough to fast but doesn’t or if they miss one or more fasts during Ramadan, he or she has to make up for those missed days later on after Ramadan has concluded.
So if you have missed three fasts, you have to fast for three more days.
