West Ham defeat Liverpool to go third

West Ham United have strengthened their Champions League hopes with a 3-2 victory over Liverpool at the London Stadium.

That result has put David Moyes’ side into third spot in the Premier League and ahead of the Reds going into the international break.

Jurgen Klopp’s side knew that a trip to East London would have been tricky but they’ll be less-than impressed after coming away with nothing.

An Alisson own goal set the Hammers on their way with goals from Pablo Fornals and Kurt Zouma seeing off the Reds.
