We’ll resist Fuel price increase – NANS

The National Association of Nigerian Students has warned the Federal Government on what it described as inflicting pains on the suffering masses with the incessant increase of the pump price of petrol in the country.

The students body, speaking at a press conference in Abuja, vowed that Nigerian students would vehemently oppose any attempt to raise the fuel pump price at a time when the country is suffering greatly, especially students from low-income families.

They shared their frustration with the ongoing and unjustified rise in tariffs and costs of goods and services provided by agencies directly under the control of Nigeria’s federal government.
