We’ll Check ‘Small Boys’ Syndrome in PDP – Mu’Azu

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, has pledged that the leadership of the party will, henceforth, put the ‘small boys’ in PDP in check from heating up the polity and making inflammatory remarks.
Mu’azu made the pledge on Monday at the party’s national secretariat, when members of the National Peace Committee for the 2015 Elections, led by Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe, a former Chief of General Staff, visited him.
While responding to an admonition from Ukiwe that politicians should respect the Abuja Peace Accord and caution their followers on the need for non-violence, before, during and after the elections, Muázu said “I want to assure you, the PDP will be running a very fair campaign, led by me.
“If you watch my utterances, personally, you will find that there is nothing I do than to be a good resource man or what I should be for my party and for Mr. President, to make people love him and vote for him.
“Unfortunately, when the opposition go haywire, some of our “small boys” in our own party shout back and that is why you have this”, he added. “But believe me, I will give them a very serious signal that we don’t expect that again. It would have gone even much worse because it is absolutely unnecessary to call somebody’s product a bad product. It is better for you to sell your product and show how better your own is than the other.
