Voting May Starts Late

Barely 30munites to the expiration of accreditation deadline by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Daily Times reporters observed in most centers in Bwari area council that the verification of PVS is still ongoing.

AT the visit of Daily Times to some of the polling units in Bwari area council, it was observed that lots of potential voters were yet to be accredited.

Some of the the voters who spoke to Daily Times said the process is very slow as it will take some minutes for the card readers to authenticate valid owners of PVS.

In some places the issue of rejection of finger thumb print as observed were rampant as the card reader machines were rejecting most of the voters thumb print.

Daily Times also observed that the polling unit in Dutse Makaranta was rowdy as officials of the INEC were control the crowd.
