Vote-buying will not stop my victory – Aspirant
A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Assembly aspirant in Bayelsa, Pastor, Ayogoi Simon Yaibimi, has said vote – buying in the forthcoming primaries of the party will not stop him emerging as the flag bearer of his constituency.
Yaibimi, who described politicians encouraging vote – buying as desperate, noted that his popularity, administrative experience, empowerment strategies and love for his people are his motivations.
He stated this at the Party Secretariat yesterday after summiting his nomination and indication of interest form.
The aspirant vying for the SILGA constituency one seat also appealed to his constituent never to sell their votes because selling their votes is selling their conscience, promising that he will bring effective and charismatic representation to the fore if elected.
