Volleyball: Nigeria Will Qualify for AAG, Says Gumel
The President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Habu Gumel, has expressed great optimism that Nigeria male and female volleyball teams will qualify for the next All Africa Games (AAG) holding in Congo Brazzaville in September this year.
Speaking with Extra Time, the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) President said, all hands were on deck to see that Nigeria volleyball teams qualify for the AAG. He said the teams have crossed the first huddle by qualifying from the first stages of the qualifiers.
“The Federation is waiting for the draws for the second round of the qualifiers to know the country we are playing. As soon we know our opponents, the boys and girls will be camped for proper monitoring,” he said.
