Vital’O will crush Enyimba in Burundi, Ndayiragije insists

Vital’ O head coach, Etienne Ndayiragije, has vowed that his players would strive to do the impossible in Bujumbura on Saturday by crushing ambitious Enyimba of Aba at the on CAF Champions League.

The Burundians bowed 5-1 to Enyimba in the first leg but coach Ndayiragije is not ruling out the possibility of his side to launch a comeback.

“We will chase the game until the final whistle,” Ndayiragije said.

“Miracles do happen in football and you can never know what will happen in Bujumbura. We are going back home to be ready and fortified for the return leg and we are very certain that victory will be ours.

“Enyimba are a very good side and they were better than us but at home we are also a force and the rain that fell here in Port Harcourt did not help our cause at all.

“We are not used to playing in such atmosphere but we are certain of what we can do in Bujumbura.”

Two goals each from Stephen Chukwude and Mfon Udoh and another from Ugochukwu Leonard handed Enyimba five important goals before Hussein Shabani reduced the deficit for Vital’ O.
