Use your experience to develop Delta Nakey tells Oborevwori

The Chief Executive Officer of Orezi Development Investment, Dr Favourmartins Nakey has called on the Governor-Elect of Delta State, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to use his wealth of experience to develop Delta and move it to a greater height.
Nakey, who made the call in a chat with newsmen at his office in Asaba, congratulated the governor-elect and his deputy, Chief Monday Onyeme on their victory.
He called on them to see all Deltans as one and work hard to ensure peace, unity and prosperity for all Deltans.
Nakey said that Delta would be great if all who lost during the election join hands with the governor-elect to work and move the state forward, saying that they should see politics as a game.
He advised Oborevwori to see the welfare of the state workers, retirees and others as a major concern, adding that he should ensure that promotion and pension arrears were paid as at when due to enable to workers and retirees have sense of belonging, saying that they were highly supportive of his victory.
Nakey appealed to the governor-elect not to appoint too many aides with nothing to offer to the state, saying that such appointments amount to monumental waste.
He also said that the governor-elect should not see appointment as empowerment, saying that only resourceful persons that would contribute to the state’s development should be appointed.
Nakey urged the governor-elect to avoid awarding contracts to companies that lack technical credibility, saying such would destroy his good plans for the state.
He advised further that the governor-elect should think of companies such as Julius Berger, MCC, Setraco and many more when awarding contracts to enable him to have value for the state resources.

Orezi Development boss equally advised Oborevwori to use the opportunity on his hands to develop the entire state, especially Okpe his area, saying that he should change the face of Okpe now that he had been given the opportunity.
