US-Israeli Strike Kill Iran’s Military Chief of Staff

The chief of staff of Iran’s armed forces, Abdolrahim Mousavi, has reportedly passed away.

Mousavi was killed in the Saturday missile attack on Iran, along with revolutionary guards chief Mohammad Pakpour, defense minister Aziz Nasirzadeh, and head of Iran’s defense council Ali Shamkhani, according to state-run Iran TV.

According to reports, the officials were killed during a meeting of the defence council.

The joint US-Israeli operation on Saturday reportedly targeted about thirty important Iranian regime leaders and military chiefs, including Mousavi.

The bombing also claimed the life of Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.

The military operation also claimed the lives of Khamenei’s daughter, grandchild, daughter-in-law, and son-in-law.

“The Iranian Supreme Leader has been killed,” according to a Sunday morning report from state broadcaster IRIB.

Mehr, a state-affiliated news outlet, stated, “This great scholar and mujahid (fighter) gave his life to elevate Iran… and he is in the grand presence of martyrs above.”

Following that, Iran declared 40 days of mourning for Khamenei.

On Saturday, Israel and the United States launched missile strikes against Iran. The strike was referred to as “pre-emptive” by Israel.

The strike, according to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, was a part of an effort to “remove threats against the State of Israel.”

Additionally, he declared a “special and permanent state of emergency” throughout the nation and threatened to use ballistic missiles and drones in retaliation.
