United capital Securities limited has emerge the top stock broking firm in December that recorded the highest volume of transaction on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). To emerge the best tsock brokn firm based on volume transacted, the company pulled a total of 1,733,852,383 units of shares in December, accounting for 9.94 per cent,

CSL STOCKBROKERS LIMITED followed with a total volume of 1,715,058,287 units, accounting for 9.83per cent, while STANBIC IBTC STOCKBROKERS LIMITED placed third with a total of 1,395,235,859 accounting for 8.00 per cent transacted in December 2017. MERISTEM STOCKBROKERS LIMITED placed third on he table with 1,294,698,270 units transacted accounting for 7.42 per cent of the total transaction volume fr the month.

RENCAP SECURITIES (NIG) LIMITED placed firth on the activity tale o the stock broking firms with 1,122,619,617 transacted volume accounting for 6.44 per cent. FBNQUEST SECURITIES LIMITED placed sixth on the table with
1,029,413,247 units accounting for 5.90 per cent while, MAGNARTIS FINANCE AND INVESTMENT LIMITED clinched d the 7th most active stock broking firm by volume with 955,476,575 units of transacted equities accounting for 5.48 per cent of the totals transacted volume recorded in December.
The report by the NSE further showed that EFCP LIMITED remained active as the 8th most active stock broking firm in December with 457,151,807 transacted volume accounting for 2.62 per cent of total traded volume in the month.
CARDINALSTONE SECURITIES LIMITED placed 9th in the stock brokers activity table with 400,581,753 units transacted in the month of December accounting for 2.30 per cent of total transaction, while READINGS INVESTMENTS LIMITED – BDR
354,595,293 traded volume accounted for 2.03 per cent, place the firm as the 10th most active stock broking firm in December.
