The sum of N10 million has so far been expended as scholarship for over 118 Anambra Students under Senator Victor Umeh educational foundation scheme.

A break down shows that the beneficiaries are indigent students across the 21 local government areas in the state who collected the sum N20,000 each.

The beneficiaries were drawn from post-primary, tertiary and post-graduate educational divides in all the 21 local government areas of the state.
According to the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial zone Chief Victor Umeh, the scheme is aimed at encouraging youths in Anambra state towards embracing formal education.
