Ugwuanyi inaugurates project built with N5m grant for every community

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State at the weekend amid jubilation inaugurated the ultra-modern civic centre in Enugu-echi Ihe, Awgu Local Government Area, constructed with the first tranche of N5 million each recently released to the 450 autonomous communities in the state to execute development project of their choice.

Gov. Ugwuanyi’s administration recently launched a grassroots development programme tagged “one community, one project”, which earmarked N10 million for each community in the state to carry out a project of their choice according to their peculiar needs to ensure that there is government presence in all the communities in Enugu State.

The ultra modern civic centre in Ihe was constructed with the first tranche of N5 million of the N10 million.
