Udoh: Enyimba target win against Rivers Utd

Mfon Udoh says that Enyimba are looking forward to securing a win over Rivers United so as to continue their unbeaten run in the topflight.

Udoh scored his sixth goal of the campaign in the People’s Elephants’ 1-1 draw at ABS FC and the former Akwa United striker is adamant that the Pride of Rivers will be in for a rough ride when they visit the U.J Esuene Stadium this weekend.

“It was important we continued with our unbeaten streak and it was the reason we were happy that we got a draw in Ilorin though an away win would have been preferred,” Udoh stated.

“We have not lost in our last four games and we are hoping to extend it when Rivers United visit us. We won’t negotiate anything other than a home win.

On reaching six goals this season, the forward said: “I am happy with my form and I am hoping to get more goals before the end of the first stanza.
“Last season was difficult for me in the league but I am happy that I have returned to my best and I hope to do more for my team.

“I am a striker and my primary duty is to score goals but I won’t be selfish. I will put the interest of my team first before other personal objectives,” he concluded.
