UDH Plc replaces Unic Insurance on NSE official list

In conforming to its new scheme of merger and corporate identity, Unic Diversified Holdings Plc has been listed on the official list of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in place of Unic Insurance Plc.

UNIC Insurance Plc (‘’UNIC’’) was delisted from the Daily Official List of The Exchange and the shares of its holding company, UNIC Diversified Holdings Plc (‘’UDH’’) listed in its place on April 10, 2017.

The company revealed that, the development brings into effect a scheme of arrangement whereby the shareholders of UNIC receive equal number of shares in UDH as they previously held in UNIC, as UDH becomes a holding company of UNIC.

Consequent to the new listing, UDH elected to adopt the symbols and codes of UNIC for the purpose of listing UDH on the official list and ticker.
