UCL Second-Round Draw Full Fixture: Man City Faces Real Madrid for the Fifth Time in a Row

The UEFA Champions League (UCL) second round will see Chelsea take on PSG again few years after the Club World Cup victory as Real Madrid take on Manchester City for the fifth time in a row. This is the fifth consecutive season that both teams are drawn to play each other in a UCL knockout match. Additionally, it will be a rematch of the previous league phase match, which City won 2-1 in December.

The two teams have faced off in the UCL’s later stages every year since the 2021–2022 season. City has only defeated Real Madrid once, while Real Madrid has won the match three times and advanced to the next round.

A rematch of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final between Chelsea and PSG will also take place in the United States. In the fierce match, Chelsea dominated the reigning UCL champions.

Galatasaray and Victor Osimhen will play Liverpool once more. Osimhen’s penalty was the difference when the two teams faced off earlier in the season.
