Trump enters into power with low rating

There can be a feeling of public rejection and how long can Trump carry the bag of rejection. The word ‘rejection’ has a negative connotation, and clinical psychologist can write volumes on one who has been rejected by the public. The psychological effect of rejection is enormous, it is like a beautiful woman who decides to marry a handsome husband and in the end she rejects the man. How can such a man carry this rejection without psychological effect on him? The action will have indelible mark on him, and each time he or she speaks, his or her mind will go back to that negative action of people. It is not enough to carry my rejection syndrome or console myself in bearing it. I must ask why I am rejected or not accepted to carry on with the post I have been longing to occupy. Because of the enormous psychological effect of rejection, I must sincerely know the opinion of people about why I am been rejected. Forcing myself to reject what people say about me will cost me dearly for everywhere I go, I carry that unfinished business in me, and I will not be confortable to put a new persona when I am in public for everybody have known my past, my history, my behaviours, my mannerism, my inconsistency, and all the flaws and contradictions that make others to judge me, all are there in me. It is problematic for one to refuse to listen to what people say about one’sself. How long can we push back the torments of rejection when it comes to our conscious mind? Even if we apply auto-suggestion exercise “Never accept rejection” psychologically it will not work because what affects the mind affects the whole human body. We cannot dismiss it out of our minds by drinking the strongest wine, even if the strongest wine succeeds in sublimating the person, it won’t be long until the alcohol evaporates and leaves the patient to face the hard realities of his life. Optimism and surrounding myself with people who think like me will not lead me to wholeness. We can surround ourselves with some persistent optimist who are on the same wave length of taught with us, but we can’t be comfortably at home with our rejection. Politics is full of mysteries, it is full of characterization. It strips the opponent of his personal inventory. Politics is full of propaganda; it is full of lies, and distrust. No one is a winner after playing the game of politics, for politics is full of Machiavellian values and is not ethical, full of projection of ego. It demeans the other and exhausts the opponent. It is a riskygame that shouldn’t be played twice, but still people attempt it. There is no win-win situation in politics, but when you feel you have won you have actually lost. For there is no way you can pay the damages caused on your opponents, so it is vice-versa. There is nothing like clean politics. When the game of politics is finished, each person goes with scares that will remind him of his past. One of the philosophers has this to say, “The hottest place in hell is reserved for those who in spite of moral crisis maintain neutrality.” This is a sound-bite for all in this 21st Century. Politics is half here and half there. It is an obsession. In politics a great number of people do not get public recognition but they like it in their own way. Politicians do not know that the public is analyzing their political behaviours and what they say in their campaigns. All these are in the recesses of the public mind. It is impossible for the voters to be on the same page with the politicians. In fact, there are lots of political packaging today and this packaging creates untold distrust from the electorates. What we hear from the politicians is not the same with what they do after the election. Democracy is contentious according to Obama. Today in the new age politics, with the emergence of the populists, everything is sacrosanct. The America media is wonderful, they are like a family, and their reporting is ideologically based. They only report what they see but they don’t change things for fear of being branded as involved in reporting fake news. That is what happens when you have a fascist regime. We noticed in time when Trump was campaigning he said, if he does not win there would be Civil war and all this while he is known for accusing the media as reporting garbage, and not only that, he created hostility among the media and the viewers. If you are not under his antenna, he loathes you, and that is not democracy as America taught the Third world. America is a free world and there is freedom of speech. According to Trump’s adviser, he said, “Many people do not understand Trump’s communication style”. One will ask, is his communication style, temperament, style of politics and qualification not based on the way they see him as he communicates? What are they going to understand about his communication, is it when he puts people down and uses the language that demeans people and everything about him is “self”, everything about him is in the superlative. Internationally, he is made a scape-goat by holding to his own views. He discredits the work of Angelo Merkelby saying that her refugee program is a disaster. What the former America’s presidents supported he debunks. He was bold to say that Nato is obsolete. Trump seems to bring back what used to disunite America. He is an advocate of white supremacy. Engaging in filtering America from non-whites especially the Muslims and illegal immigrants, he creates divide. He wants to send them back to their countries. With all these nuances, he managed to scale and become the president elect and his Inauguration is almost at the door step and all of a sudden, we begin to hear new narratives. Congress man Lewis when interviewed said that, “Trump is not a legitimate president.” Many hold that Russia hacked into the Americans data base and rigged the election. This issue is discussed all over the world. One would ask, why all this political nuances coming up at the hill of the Inauguration? The media announced him as the 45th American’s President. In the end, “The Poll historicallyrates him low.” That is Americans Politics. If it were in the Third world, the whole thing will be received with skeptical smiles. He is the least popular incoming President in decades, as reported. A great number of people would boy-cot the inauguration, especially the democrats. Now one will ask, what is politics? What is a leader? What is an electorate, and what is the effect of rejection in a leader. The man whom he has been dismantling his legacies, Obama in his own time had 84 percent approval rate. What then is the cause of Trump’s mindset on Obama’s regime, and America’s establishment?
Nigeria has a lot to learn from America, the freedom to express their views against what they don’t want as shown in the action of democrats boy-cotting the inauguration and women planning to demonstrate against what does not promote their right. The civilized media of America reports to the public the views of different people. But if it were in Nigeria, there would be battalion of soldiers, air force to prevent them from expressing their views and annoyance. Nigeria is a young democracy. They should learn to allow citizens to express their views without intimidation. That is democracy. America would manage what is happening very well without carrying objectors into “Black Maria” to shut them up. America would not do that. America knows how to manage diversity. That is why America is a country of free world and an accommodating world, which Trump wants to change.
