Traditional religion worshippers attributes FG’s terrorism funding claims on Gov Bala to politics
Traditional religion worshippers in Bauchi state have condemned federal government’s allegations that Governor Bala Mohammed is funding terrorism.
Mbami Iliya Sabka, Chief Priest (Seng Wari) who made the condemnation in a press release called it selective and politically motivated.
They argued that such claims should be backed by credible evidence and impartial investigation, rather than political rivalry or religious bias.
Sabka also expressed concern over Nigeria’s designation as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC) by the US, citing religious extremism and exclusion.
They urged the Federal Government to address underlying issues like religious discrimination, insecurity, and injustice, rather than resorting to divisive accusations.
The statement emphasizes that Nigeria is a multi-faith nation and any attempt to impose a one-religion state undermines the Constitution and fuels extremism.
