Toks Asher Young Honoured With Leadership Award And Appointed ECOWAS Youth Ambassador
The Leadership of West Africa (ECOWAS) Youth Council has appointed artiste/talent manager and entrepreneur, Tochukwu Toks Young Umezulike popularly known as Toks Asher Young as an ECOWAS Youth Ambassador with Nelson Mandela Leadership Award Of Excellence and Integrity.
Umezulike was honoured with an award presented by H.E Ambassador Ologun Seun Williams (ECOWAS Youth Council President/Chairperson).
In his words, H.E Ambassador Ologun Seun Williams during the presentation held at Summerset Continental in Maitama, Abuja said the Youth Council created this Leadership award to Honour outstanding youths who have distinguished themselves in their various fields and professions in West Africa.
He further stated that the Council felt it was befitting to recognize Toks and appoint his as EYC Ambassador with National Youth Council of Nigeria, Leadership Award Of Excellence and Integrity based on his representation for the youth at all levels. He hoped this award will empower him with the courage to take up a leadership role by providing guidance for the younger generation.
He acknowledged his progressive strides in developing budding talent as well as his entrepreneurship skills. A few of the West African Youths that have been recognized with this honor include the likes of Seyi Tinubu and celebrity blogger and entrepreneur Linda Ikeji.
Umezulike in his appreciation remarks thanked God and the Leadership of ECOWAS Youth Council for deeming him worthy of this prestigious recognition.
AMB Tochukwu Young Umezulike said this award will propel him to be more involved in issues for social justice and change without fear or favour.
Furthermore he promised WEST AFRICA (ECOWAS) YOUTH COUNCIL to be a worthy Ambassador at all levels both local and International.
