Tinubu congratulates three Nigerians for winning global TeenEagle competition

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated three Nigerian students, Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli, for emerging world champions at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Competition held in London, United Kingdom.
The TeenEagle is an English language skills competition, with the goal of giving every student globally the chance to stand out and test their skills.
Seventeen-year-old Nafisa was awarded overall best in English language communication, 15-year-old Rukayya took the top prize in debate, while Hadiza clinched the gold medal for outstanding talent.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised the trio for their exceptional performance, describing them as shining examples of Nigeria’s bright future.
“President Tinubu commends these exceptional young Nigerians for the feat and affirms that the nation’s future is much brighter with many of its youth as repositories of excellence,” the statement reads.
“The President also commends the institutions of learning and states that these accomplishments are a testament to the quality and potential of Nigeria’s education system as a nurturer of some of the world’s brightest minds.
“President Tinubu believes that education is a critical element for national development; hence, his administration’s significant investment in the sector and the removal of financial barriers for indigent Nigerians seeking higher education through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).”
The President encourages Nafisa, Rukayya, and Hadiza to remain steadfast in their studies and wishes them continued success.
