Timaya Responds to Marriage Rumour

As much as we love Timaya, we just think it’s time for him to grow up. Just when rumours returned strongly about the ‘Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa’ walking down the aisle with his baby mama soon, he dashed hopes of his fans ever seeing get married soon. Mid last week when pictures of the mother of his child, Barbara, having a baby shower during the Easter holidays hit the internet, it didn’t just attract much attention for nothing, she was heavily pregnant and almost about to pop. Naturally, congratulatory messages started to roll Timaya’s way, followed by rumour of a soon-to-be wedding. But Timaya who once said he wasn’t ready for marriage, again, made his stand on the issue of marriage clear when he took to his Instagram page to debunk any marriage rumour. According to him, marriage isn’t on his mind, as he’s still taking time to ‘work’ on himself.
“Still working on myself. I can’t commit to anyone yet…,” he wrote.
His response got many wondering, after which a fan of his commented saying, “nah wah o! Poor Barbara. It must hurt to have babies for a man who isn’t even ready to put a ring on it yet.”
Timaya had his first daughter on May 21, 2012.
