Things You Must Know While Working with Top Celebrities: Myles Kronman

While it’s common to hear “celebrities are just like us,” that isn’t always the case. Working with elite clients can be a unique experience that requires some attention to detail and finesse.
Myles Kronman is the founder of Model House Los Angeles, and he’s worked with top celebrities for a long time. Here are his tips for working with these high-profile individuals.
1. Put yourself in their shoes.
Try to imagine what it’s like being a celebrity, and treat them how you’d want to be treated. “Pay attention to their brand before you make any arrangements,” says Kronman.
“Make sure they’re the right fit before calling a meeting. There are so many influencers out there; it’s up to you to find the right one,” he adds.
2. Respect their time.
Celebrities and influencers are busy people. “Arrive on time, even if the celebrity is late. Make meetings as short as possible,” advises Kronman. You should also cut down the small talk when you can.
“Celebrities don’t want to hear your life story. Introduce yourself and move on. They can ask any questions they have,” he says.
3. Be friendly, but don’t expect to be friends.
Most people want to make a good impression on a celebrity. While that’s all well and good, that doesn’t mean that you should be trying to set them up as one of your best friends.
“Respect your business relationship. Don’t expect that they’ll want to be best friends with you, even if they’re super friendly,” Kronman explains.
4. Avoid gossip.
This might be the most crucial step of all. If you have a close relationship with celebrities, they might tell you things about upcoming projects or even other stars.
It’s imperative that you don’t pass this information on. “Don’t be a gossip. You could lose your client, and it will always make you look bad,” warns Kronman.
Working with celebrities has its challenges, and Myles Kronman has become an expert over the years. As long as you’re kind, respectful, and follow the above tips, you won’t go wrong.
