There will not be election in Nigeria – Clergy predicts

Sunday Nwakanma, Umuahia

Even with the recent Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) postponement of the general election in the country by one week, it has been predicted that come Saturday, February23, and March 9, the elections will not hold. Rev Evans Paul C of Praise and Truth Worship Center, Ngbaja Amawom Oboro in Ikwuano LGA handed out this prediction to news men in Umuahia Monday, stating that this was because God is not happy with Nigeria. Rev Evans who had last Tuesday, 12th of February told anyone who cared to listen that the Presidential election will not hold stated further “God is angry with politicians in Nigeria because many of them are ritualists who don’t care for the masses”. “There will be no election in Nigeria. If anyone wants to force it, the person will faint and be rushed to the hospital where the person will be (die)”. In Abia state, he said he is offering the Governor the opportunity to seek God’s face through him as the state is one from where the “healing of Nigeria will start”. Speaking with our Umuahia Correspondent later, Rev. Evans said that a lot of devils were brought into Nigeria during FESTAC’77 and that the gods are now working against the country. Without sanctifying the land, he said the country will be in trouble, especially if they try to hold the general election.
