This maxim is aptly connected to the hardworking disposition and preparedness of Surakat Semiu Olorunkemi for future and imminent higher responsibilities.

He is presently the current Executive Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government area of Lagos State. Perhaps, this explains why the profile of the respected politician cum socialite to be on the rise each passing day.

Surakat is also said to be enjoying the support of the indigenes and residents of the community due to his contributions to the development of the area.

Sequel to his love for his people, he has been honored with awards and laurels in the area for his community development strides.

Surakat is a very loyal and most reliable personality. He is always prepared to go the extra mile for the sake of his people.

He has indeed learned the curves of responsible leadership and has thoroughly acquainted himself with the dictates of higher responsibilities.

He was born into the prominent family of the late Chief Surakat Shafari Awolowo from Epe area of Lagos state.

After his secondary education, he proceeded to the Federal College of Education, Osiele Abeokuta, Ogun State, before he went to Lagos State University to bag his BSc in Business Management.

Worked at Iwopin Pulp and Paper Company and also had a stint with the service of Lagos State House of Assembly before his present job as two chairmen of Ibeju Lekki

Surakat is a devout Muslim who is happily married with children. He loves to help humanity and read during his leisure time.
