COVID-19 has not claimed a single life in Taraba said Danjuma Adamu, Commissioner of Information and Reorientation.
He made the disclosure while speaking with reporters in Jalingo.
Adamu debunked reports by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control that the state recorded five deaths. “Their reports are not correct,” he said.
He explained that Governor Darius Ishaku took several proactive measures to check the spread of the disease.
The governor constituted a 24-member Technical Committee to coordinate all the activities relating to the control of the disease in the state, he said.
