Amazon Wins Approval to Test Delivery Drones

The certificate by the FAA comes with restrictions but it advances Amazon’s plan to deliver packages using unmanned aircraft. Amazon has won approval from US federal regulators to test a delivery drone outdoors. The Federal Aviation Administration has issued an experimental airworthiness certificate allowing test flights over private, rural land in Washington state.
