The Kano State Hisbah Board has sanctioned the Kano State branch of Cool FM (96.9) for using the term ‘Black Friday’. Daily Times reports that Black Friday is a colloquial name for the Friday after Thanksgiving Day in the United States, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.
