FIFA ban EX-CAF President Issa Hayatou

FIFA’s ethics committee on Tuesday handed a year suspension from football-related activities to former African Football Confederation (CAF) head Issa Hayatou over a disputed $1 billion TV and marketing rights agreement with France’s Lagardere Sports which infringed competition restrictions. Cameroon’s Hyatou, 74, must also pay a 30,000 Swiss francs (28,000 euros/$33,000)
