The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has lauded moves by the National Assembly to scrap acceptance fees in tertiary institutions nationwide. Vice-President of NANS (National Affairs), Mr. Chidi Ilogebe, said this in a statement made available to newsmen in Enugu on Sunday.
The House of Representatives has called on the Federal Government to “immediately” abolish the payment of acceptance fees into Tertiary Institutions in the country.
