Why we suspend our National Chairman – RBNP

One of the newly registered political parties in the country, Re-Build Nigeria Party (RBNP) has suspended its Protem National Chairman, Chief Japhet Anyanwu and approved the appointment of Chief Canice Okorie as the Acting National Chairman.
RBNP said that Anyanwu was suspended for “gross misconduct, financial misappropriation, extortion, offering of party positions for monetary gratifications and gains.”
The National Executive Committee of the party which announced Anyanwu’s suspension in a communiqué signed by the National Secretary, Prince Musa Abutu on Thursday in Abuja, said, RBNP is now poised to present candidates in all elective positions in 2019.
Abutu said that the party’s executive committee approved the protem chairman’s suspension in a unanimous resolution and appointed a capable hand that can lead the party to victory in 2019 elections.
