‘Support for Buhari in 2019 shortest route to Igbo presidency’

Igbo presidency in 2013 is possible and it is no longer a call, as it is something that is due to them, but is still dependent on the attitude of the Igbos to the demand, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and a Buhari irredentist, Chief Egwu Chima, has declared.
He warmed that the people of Southeast region should not be deceived by gale of propaganda from detractors of the APC-led federal government, who use issues surrounding herdsmen/farmers’ clashes, in some parts of the country and Boko Haram to make people hold a negative view about the government.
He stated this during an interactive session with journalists in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi state capital, Thursday, saying any attempt by the zone to support another presidential candidate from either the north or south, would jeopardise the chances of the Igbos producing the nation’s president in 2013.
