FG Declares Support For Akwa-Ibom Sea Port Project
The Federal Government has declared support for the Ibaka Deep Seaport project in Akwa Ibom State.
Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo announced this during the 30th-anniversary celebration of Akwa Ibom state.
Describing Akwa Ibom as a state with a tradition of progressive activism, patriotism and development with strategic importance to the Federal government, Osinbajo said that provision has been made in the 2017 budget to support the project through the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) to support Akwa Ibom state in the development of Ibaka Deep Sea Port.
