Style Plus, Paul Play, Tonto Dikeh to perform as Atiku Abubakar, others receive Goodwill Ambassadors Award

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is among many dignitaries slated to receive this year’s Goodwill Ambassadors Award.

The event which is planned to take place at the Yar’Adua Centre Abuja on Friday 21st September 2018 will feature many Nigerians music stars and other celebrities including Style Plus, Paul Play, Faze and sensational actress and humanist, Tonto Dikeh and others.

According to a statement signed by Ambassador Chris Odey, Principal Partner with the Nigerian Goodwill Ambassador Awards, the programme is to honour Atiku Abubakar and others as a show of appreciation for their humanitarian services, leadership attributes and other contributions to nation building.

Odey listed some of the nominees for the awards to include Sen. Datti Baba-Ahmed, Chief Joe Kyari Gadzama, Engr. Godwin Abayomi, Chief Hon. Val Nzekwe, Engr. Mathias Baba Tsado, Alh. Shehu Gaban, Alh. Mohammed Danjuma, Barr. Allen Onyema and Dr Lani Stephens.

Others are Chief Jedy Agba, Egor Ifiok, Hon. Pastor Beloved Dan Anime, Chief Koko James, Hon. Peace Patrick Nwanyioma, Emperor Chris Baywood Ibeh, Rt. Hon. Edward Ubosi, Mrs Onyinye Orjiakor Ndulue, Rt. Hon. NSE Ntu, Hon. Jonathan , Rt. Hon. Lami, AIG. Ballad M. Nasarawa Rtd.

Williams Uchemba, Mr Oricha Umaru Shaibu, Bishop Ugo Wems, Zainab Z. Zira, Mr. Jude Okala, Mr. Charles Okpakele and many more.

“Nigeria Goodwill Ambassador Awards is an honorary award to honour and celebrate individuals and organizations who have distinguished themselves in different humanitarian fields with selfless service to humanity and projecting Nigeria’s image positively worldwide.

It is designed to honour Goodwill Stakeholders of Great Virtue, Good Works and Selfless Service to Humanity. Alh. Atiku Abubakar will be delivering the Keynote Address while Nollywood star/Humanist Tonto Dikeh will anchor the event alongside Ben 200.

“The 2018 edition nomination cuts across all professions and in different categories spreading tentacles to appreciate everyone in the habit of ‘live and lets live’ that is capable of changing the world.

The edition with its theme, ‘Celebrating Selfless Service’ will leave no stone unturned in appreciating the real selfless individuals in our society no matter where they are in Nigeria.

“The honourees are individuals who have contributed immensely to societal transformation and development, that promote Youth Development, create awareness and advocate on Human Rights Causes such as:

Child Trafficking/ Abuses, Gender Equality, Children Rights, Girl Child Education, Empowerment Programmes, Rehabilitation, Breast Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Free Medical check-ups and treatment, taking care of the Orphans and rendering needed help to the less fortunate in our society,” the statement concluded.
