‘Stop blaming Buhari for Nigeria’s security challenges’

Honourable Bassey Etim, former member of the House of Representatives and Senatorial Candidate for Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District in the 2015 general elections has asked Nigerians to stop blaming President Mohammadu Buhari alone for the current state of insecurity in the country.

Etim asked Nigerians to hold the Senate, Legislators and State Governors accountable for not doing enough in assisting the Federal government put an end to the security crises in the country.

This was contained in a statement he signed personally and made available to newsmen on Monday in Abuja.

Reacting to the judgement of the Supreme Court that declared Senator Bassey Akpan as the authentic winner to represent the people of Akwa Ibom Ibom North- East Senatorial District, he charged his teeming supporters to put behind them the judgement and look ahead of 2019.
