STF confirms 5 dead in suspected cults’ clash in Jos
The Special Task Force (STF), code named Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), has confirmed five persons dead in a suspected rival cults clash in Jos.
The Commander of the Task-force, Major General Augustine Chukwudi Agundu confirmed the killings to newsmen on Wednesday.
Agundu said that the incident occurred at about 8:30pm on Tuesday evening.
“Yesterday the OPSH in sector one command received a distress call that four people were attacked at Rafiki area along Rukuba Road in Jos.
“Immediately the information was received, the command mobilised operatives to move to area,” he said.
