Stanley Aguzie lands role in TV show, “Vikings”

Stanley Aguzie, who is popular for his short films in the industry, has just landed a role in the popular TV show ‘Vikings’ which will be aired soon. Stanley has featured in short films like ‘Save me’ and ‘Entrust’ respectively.

He got the role in the short movie despite the fact that he was not as handsome as the character described in the movie.

His words: “I was invited for this casting and I went thinking I couldn’t get the role since I’m not as handsome as the character described. So I went to give it a trial, and the casting director looked at me and said directors have the right to change their mind when they meet better actors. ‘You are not as muscular as we want but I think we can work Stanley,’ they said. So I thought he meant on other productions. I was surprised when I got a call-back and landed myself this small role that means the whole world to me”.

Speaking on his role, the actor said: “When I relocated to Dublin, I was considering pausing my acting career and focusing on other things before this opportunity presented itself. Prior to his relocation to the Republic of Ireland, the filmmaker started a campaign against child molestation, abuse, and rape with short films on public orientation. who made his debut in entertainment in 2005 as a comedian, kicked off his acting career on stage. “I have other films projects in mind here In the Republic of Ireland and hopefully starts production soon. I am not desperate. I apply a slow, steady and surely approach to my acting and filmmaking career,” Aguzie said.

His other works include “Emerald,” “Tinsel,” “Superstory,” “The Andrew File,” “When You Die,” “This Life,” “A Change of Heart” among others.

“Vikings” is an Irish-Canadian historical drama television series which premiered in 2013.
