Sokoto Travellers Attack: Deplorable Act By Bandits – Big Klef
US based Nigerian artiste Big Klef has expressed anger and sadness over the recent gruesome attack on hapless seasonal migrants in Sokoto State.
In a statement, Big Klef, said that the bus attack was a cowardly act by hoodlums, who have no human feelings at all.
Reacting to the incident, He said, “It is very saddening the manner of attack on these innocent passengers by heartless bandits.
It is disappointing that Nigeria is facing these series of security challenges in recent times ”.
Several travellers who were en-route the southern part of the country had their bus attacked and burned by armed bandits.
Sources said the incident occurred when the vehicle they were travelling in was ambushed by the bandits who opened fire on them around Teke village in Gidan Bawa district.
“I extend sincere condolences to the families of the victims and call on the government and the security agencies to show no mercy to the perpetrators of this inhumane act”
Klef called on the federal government to equip the country’s security agencies with modern and adequate tools needed to fight these hoodlums and bring an end to their reign of terror around the Nation.
He pleaded with all seasonal migrants during this Xmas period to be security conscious and report any form of suspicious activity to through police hotlines or at check points.
