According to him, the empowerment programme which its registration has commenced will spread across the four zones in Oke-Ogun even up to ward level and will focus more on women and youth being empowered in the areas of trading, skill acquisition, and entrepreneurship; adding that zonal administrators have already been put in place in the political zones of Oke-Ogun to attend to the needs of the people.

Shina Peller who also decried lack of basic infrastructure in the area, asserting that the constituency deserve better treatment, maintained that empowerment of widows, less privileged and scholarship for indigent students which is his hallmark would continue to manifest in the area.

“My people know my worth, my achievements and having somebody that can actually represent this constituency has been a challenge, I cannot afford to be selfish, I have to think about the less privileged too”. He added that his reason for joining the race for a seat in the green chamber is to bring about grassroots and infrastructural development to the entire Oke-Ogun region.

He also noted that the Oke-Ogun is vast with natural resources, tourist attractions as well as good land for agriculture but they are either abandoned or yet untapped; and he will use his office if elected to help formulate policies for proper harnessing of these resources.

While Peller urged the youth to be patients for the said developments to materialize, he however charged them to actively participate in electioneering process and shun political thuggery.
