The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for the 2023 House of Assembly election in Delta State, Ogbueshi Eugene Umunna, has urged aggrieved candidates to sheathe their swords, and accept the election’s outcome

Recall that since the conclusion of the elections and the winners announced by Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) , upset candidates and their political parties have approached the election petition tribunals to overturn the verdict of the electoral umpire

However, Ogbueshi Eugene Umunna who represented APGA in Oshimili South Local Government Area in the election that Bridget Anyanfulu of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) won, differed in his conviction

Speaking to journalists in Asaba, Ogbueshi Eugene Umunna held that the elections’ results reflected the people’s desires, and urged upset Candidates to sheathe their swords and support the winner of the elections in the interest of peace and development.
