Senator Vows to Revive Bombed Kogi Radio Station
The Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District in the Red Chamber, Nurudeen Abatemi-Usman, has said that the entire people of Ebiraland would leave no stone unturned, to bring back to life the recently-bombed popular community radio station, Tao FM, located in Kuroko, Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State.
A statement signed by Michael Jegede, the Senator’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, indicated that Abatemi-Usman made the remark, while formally notifying his fellow law-makers of the bombing of the only functional media outfit in his constituency for outright condemnation on the floor of the Senate.
The Senator flayed the horrific attack on Tao FM, founded by Dr. Tom Adaba, the renowned and highly revered broadcaster and former Director-General (DG) of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), noting that the radio station had become the strong voice of unity of Ebira people and would never be allowed to die.
