Senator Dino Melaye receives humanitarian award

Amidst series of controversies, Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West Senatorial District is still a man some still want to be identified with.

While you’re busy calling him names and insulting his guts, some brands and notable Nigerians are busy celebrating the embattled politician. Information has it that the articulate senator was honoured with an award for his humanitarian supports towards the development and sustainability of his people both home abroad.

This award is coming in between a recall process instituted by some of his constituents who in a petition on June 23 called for his removal. The controversial senator has linked his current travails to his consistent criticism of his state governor, Yahaya Bello, whom he fell out with.
