Senate President Impressed with Election Conduct

The Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator David Alechenu Bonaventure Mark said he is highly impressed with the conduct of the just concluded presidential and senatorial election.
Speaking to Newsmen at Otukpo after his accreditation, the senate president said he was first impressed with the turn out, peaceful conduct of the INEC staff and the electorate. He appreciated the cordial atmosphere in his polling unit, judging the election as an important election and advised that everybody should be calm with a lot of patience pointing that every Nigerian eligible to vote must vote and the vote counts.
He stressed the consciousness of people as it regards the election and so nobody was ready to cause trouble.
Concerning his victory in the poll, the Senate President assured that he will win the election as his people will surely vote for him.
