Senate Dep Leader flays Buhari over 30,000 police deployment for Ekiti polls

The Deputy Senate Leader, Ibn Na’allah on Tuesday flayed President Buhari led government for deploying 30,000 policemen to Ekiti for Saturday governorship election, while other parts of the country remain under-policed and susceptible to various form of insecurity.
Speaking at plenary on Tuesday while contributing to debates on a bill to reform the police he expressed disdain for the attitude of the Inspector General of Police who he described as doing” korokoro eye service” to assuage the APC-led federal government by deploying such a large contingent of law enforcement agents for a civil assignment such as election while other security red spots in the country lack the presence of adequate police.
