Sen Nenadi earns Bauchi LP’s loyalty after S’court verdict

The Bauchi state chapter of the Labour Party (LP) has on Sunday declared its total loyalty and support to senator Esther Nenadi Usman following the recent supreme court verdict which recognized her as the valid national chairperson of the party.

A press statement made available to newsmen by the Bauchi state chapter of the party and signed by Rev. Joshua Sunday, said as law-abiding group of party faithful’s, they have considered the judgement of the apex court of the land which is the last resort as sacrosanct.

“In that light, we, the Labour Party and its executives from ward level in Bauchi State, have fully pledged loyalty to the leadership of Senator Esther Nenadi Usman”, Rev. Sunday stated.

The Bauchi chapter of the Labour Party called on its members and the Obedient family to join in the repositioning of the Party to ensure its success in all political spheres and negotiations.

According to Rev. Sunday, it is pertinent to note that the Nigerian state under the APC-led administration has become a beacon of hopelessness, financial banditry, clannishness, impunity, unemployment, insecurity, inflation, among others.

He further observed that the APC administration has demonstrated other negative indices that have engulfed the country in the last 10 years.

The press statement also explained that the task of rescuing Nigeria from the hands of amateur leaders is an act of patriotism for all Nigerians.

“In that light, we fully support the coalition to oust the ruling party and to provide Nigerians with the dividends of democracy”, Rev. Sunday declared.

While pointing out that the Bauchi chapter of the party’s loyalty to its 2023 Presidential candidate, Peter Obi is non-negotiable, Rev. Sunday vowed continued support and solidarity in every political effort aimed at restoring Nigeria to its lost glory.

Rev. Joshua Sunday, a one time Zonal Vice Chairman, Bauchi South Senatorial Zone said, “I offer service to our party as Chairman of the State chapter. My record of success while serving as Zonal Vice Chairman, Bauchi South, speaks for itself and gives me an edge to be elected as State Chairman.”

He also called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, “to, as a matter of urgency, recognise the interim Chairperson of our great party, Senator Esther Nenadi Usman

The press statement called on executive members from ward level across all the 20 local government areas of Bauchi State to join hands with him towards making the Party in the state one of the strongest opposition platforms capable of providing a viable alternative to the people from the grassroots and above.
