Secretary General of AARDO visits Nigeria

The African-Asian Rural Development Organisation (AARDO), has appealed for the establishment of another agricultural training institute in Nigeria, to improve on the successes recorded in the area of rural and agricultural development.

The Secretary General of AARDO, Wassfi El -Sreihin made the appeal during an official visit to the federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development, in Abuja.

“I am here to foster the relationship between the ministry of Agriculture and AARDO, and to also ask the ministry to designate another centre of excellent in the country for the benefit of all member countries,” he said.

Describing the activities of AARDO in Nigeria, EL-sreihin is confident Nigeria has benefited immensely in the area of training and capacity building in agricultural and rural development programmes.
